•The audience response centers on feverish excitement for Metroid and Kirby, with Samus increasingly cast as a terrifying, eldritch powerhouse and Metroid/Chozo lore driving hype and memes about ravenous hunger and Doom-tinged vibes.
•There is strong affection for Zelda moments and Kirby reveals, alongside fatigue over ports and disappointment at the absence of a 3D Mario reveal, fueling jokes about leakers and Direct timing.
•The tone mixes nostalgic optimism for future hardware like a Switch 2 and new gameplay with skepticism about whether the Direct delivered enough fresh content, and a craving for concrete updates such as DLC, ports, or hardware improvements over teasers or remakes.
•Overall, the chatter is meme-heavy and communal, combining excitement with doubt about leaks and the direct's value, with talk of cross-franchise tie-ins and other predictions, and occasional frustration with live-chat toxicity and pacing.
